Ataman BP17
₹185,000.00
One of the most intriguing precharged pneumatics we have examined in a while is the Ataman BP17! Its 23.85″ length and 5.1 kg weight make it ideal for packing in a truck’s cab, a backpack, or a canoe. Its 100cc regulated cylinder will deliver an impressive 25 shots per fill, and its two 7-round magazines with onboard storage will ensure that you don’t have to scramble for pellets when it matters most. It is only available in.177 caliber.
It is very pleasant to hold the BP17. At just under two feet long, it balances quite well and is simple to carry, even with one hand. It weighs just a little more than five pounds. The ambidextrous stock, which is either sapele hardwood or beech with a Soft-Touch coating, is largely responsible for its comfort and handling. Sapele is a beautiful, long-lasting, and exotic hardwood that will darken with time. The stock’s Soft-Touch coating makes it incredibly comfortable to touch and helps it resist some moisture. Don’t treat Soft-Touch stocks like synthetic ones since, despite their durable appearance, they are prone to dings that can be difficult to fix if they are deep enough. Although the pull’s length of 13.5 inches is small, it blends in with the entire design so effectively that even the 6’3″ author of this guide doesn’t feel crowded. You may comfortably hold the gun to your shoulder with your right hand while using your left to pull the trigger thanks to the grip’s good contouring that fits most hands. Holding it in your shoulder is made easier by the textured butt pad. The lever handle is incredibly simple to operate with just the thumb of your supporting hand and features spiral knurling for improved grip (and appearance). The action is very light and not particularly smooth, but it’s also not unpleasant. It breaks in over time and cycles best when the handle is held close to the top while pushing it forward. Pulling the trigger while holding the lever forward is another way to uncock it.
