The Russian Mosin Nagant carbine rifle, a legend in Russia, was manufactured from the late 18th century until the 1950s and was widely used during World War II. The Gletcher M1944 is a duplicate of this weapon.

The M1944 was used by the Soviet army in large quantities during the conflict. The M1944 features a full metal sliding bolt action, a constructed-in magazine, a hex wrench for CO2 capsules, a folding bayonet, and a reproduction strap.
